This site is to sell the collections of items that I have found over the years. It is time for me to part with them and find them a new home. Shoot me an offer on any item and always willing to hear on trades.
thank you
This is a M.A.V. Boat single seater. Made by the MAV Company (no longer in exsistance)
Not sure of the year / No original motor (heard it was a 4cyl diesel) / Seat one person / No cannon / about 9ft long by 4ft wide / very heavy / all fiberglass / No trailer / No paperwork or title on the boat - bill of sale only
What these were last used for was an hands-on full live action shooter game. Set up at the local amusement park. They had a pool set up, fully enclosed in netting with four boats in the water. You and a friend (in the two person model boats) would get into these boats and drive around the pool in search of your combatant. The boats were retro fitted with small electric boat motors, that were controled by your feet. The boat operator was enclosed in the boat under the drivers canopy. In front of them was an air powered cannon that single shot tennis sized balls.
There was no score keeping. It was just a timed event by the game operator. People around the pool could also shoot balls at the boats from cannons mounted around the pool for a small fee.
I know of only four of these boats in exsistance. One was this single seated version and the other three were double seated ones. I own three of these boats. The fourth was sold locally before I could get it.
I am offering this boat for $5,000. The only thing comparable that I have found was the same version of this boat but as a tank. The bottom had a golfcart type body placed under it. It was on Ebay and sold for that price. A boat is a little more unusual and or unique. My idea was to mount a jetski motor in a stainless steel box and attach it to the rear of the boat. All of the controls could easily be put into the driver area of the boat. This motor will be included in the sale. It is from a 1996 650 Yamaha jetski.
1987 MCI Bus - I bought this bus out of NYC and did an partial RV conversion. It is registered in NY as an RV. It has seating for 15 including a dinette for four people in the front portion. I made the table and used the original bus seats. Next it has a full sized fridge that works when plugged in to electric. The rear portion has open floor plan and the rear has the original stainless steel bathroom.
The bus has a frozen front brake. It needs brakes all around and the muffler spot welded to pass inspection.
